WebJun 16, 2024 · Selling my Ray Samuels Emmeline II "The Raptor" tube amplifer, 120v, black. 9 out of 10 cosmetic for age only (see images), no marks on the amp or power supply that I can see. 10 out of 10 technical. Comes with the stock vintage tubes (1 x Sylvania 12AU7A, 2 x Philips 5687WB) which i never used but which work fine. WebTwo, even set to its 5-volt maximum output level, the Audio Aero DAC/pre did not overload the Raptor. Fascinating. K-1000 headbangers can thus cheat and build in more headroom with higher-than-standard source outputs. Time to roll tubes. Ray had included 2 x RCA 5687s and one Mullard 12AU7.
