The story tied up nicely but I wouldn’t mind seeing more of these characters should the author decide to continue. I loved this series a lot. It’s gritty for Amish fiction and deals with topics of suicide, drug abuse, child abuse and neglect and adultery. Mitchell’s blog is a great resource for helping people with healthy eating, losing and maintaining weight and learning to have a healthy relationship with food. I found that it was indeed thought provoking. I thought that it was very well written with vivid descriptions.
