WebLiver is not fatty, enlarged. No cirrhosis. Referred to hepatology. Started on prednisone 40mg 2 weeks ago. Began to experience significant increase in liver enzymes. Doctor has discontinued prednisone as of today and ordered repeat liver biopsy. I'm just curious why the prednisone would make the liver enzymes rise so significantly so quickly.
