WebFeb 20, 2024 · From reading and watching videos from Magnepan, panel area is mostly bass area. Bigger panel area adds more bass. And thier bass panels are advertised to add bass for bigger rooms. Not deeper, just more. They spec 1.7i down to 40 hz. But my ADS L880 or Ohm C2 are spec about the same. The 1.7is don't sound as deep, IME.
