WebMay 27, 2024 · We spent three nights tent camping on Jekyll Island and so enjoyed it. Our site was spacious, clean, and set among beautiful trees. It was only a short walk to the bathhouse which was well lit and well maintained. The camp hosts and store staff were friendly and helpful to these novice campers. The campground is located just across the street from the Clam Creek Picnic area where you will find a really cute bait and tackle shop, a covered fishing pier, the horseback riding stable, and a lovely trail to ride bikes or walk through the marsh.
