WebThe formula derives a child’s IQ by dividing mental age by chronological age (CA) and multiplying by 100 (IQ = MA/CA * 100)/. For example, an 8-year old child with the mental age of 8 would have an IQ of 100 (8/8*100=100). If the same child had the mental age of 5, it would be 63 (5/8*100=63).
